DESIGN BRIEF
Casa Llum explores how a contemporary coastal apartment can support both relaxed Mediterranean living and the practical rhythm of everyday life. The brief considers a home where sea views, natural light and open-plan spaces become part of the daily experience, while the interior still needs to feel comfortable, functional and easy to live in throughout the year.
DESIGN RESPONSE
A soft palette of warm whites, pale timber and natural textures allows the changing coastal light to shape the atmosphere of the apartment. Low-profile furniture preserves the connection with the sea, while woven details, linen fabrics and subtle blue-grey accents introduce a calm Mediterranean character. The design remains intentionally understated so that the views, daylight and sense of openness stay at the centre of the home.
LIVING EXPERIENCE
The resulting concept feels bright, open and quietly restorative. Living, dining and outdoor areas connect naturally, creating a home suited to slow mornings, informal meals, working with a view and relaxed evenings by the sea. Practicality is integrated through discreet storage and flexible spaces, allowing the apartment to feel both effortless and ready for everyday use.
